Iroquois Falls Public Library soliciting ideas for programs and events to offer

The Iroquois Falls Public Library is looking for input on what programs or services it could be offering.

Assistant librarian Haley Montreuil says it’s always looking to give community access to what it needs, that’s not offered anywhere else.

There are already several ideas.

“More tech courses, because we offer a few of them, but more specific ones;” she says, “book clubs and programs for kids; homework programs; just a lot of little things that we could start doing.”

You can submit your ideas online or on a written form at the library.

“So we’re going to collect all the information we can and then bring it to the board,” explains Montreuil, “and we can kind of discuss what we should bring, what’s going to have enough interest to put a program of an event on, we’ll see where we can go from there.”
