Five Canadian teams were in action last night in the NHL and only the Maple Leafs won with Toronto shading Philadelphia 3-2. In the other match-ups, Montreal lost 4-1 to Boston, Tampa Bay outlasted Edmonton 6-4, Vancouver went to a shootout against the New York Rangers and lost 3-2 while New Jersey doubled Calgary 4-2.
