The annual general meeting of the Cochrane Board of Trade will be a little glitzier starting this year.
President Frank Louvelle says it’s incorporating a business awards gala.
“Normally, we recognized the lifetime achievement of a business once a year,” he reminds us, “but now, we’re expanding it to cover a lot of other areas.”
There are seven categories. Louvelle says nominations can be submitted on the group’s Facebook page.
“Anybody can nominate anybody. You can nominate as many as you like, you just have to do a separate form for each nomination.”
The awards will be handed out at the AGM on April 20th.
