Only one of the four Canadian NHL teams in action last night won and that decision went to a shootout where Winnipeg beat Nashville 5-4. Elsewhere, Montreal was edged 2-1 by Chicago, Vancouver lost 4-1 to Washington while San Jose beat Edmonton 2-1 in a shootout.
The Toronto Raptors used overtime to beat the Orlando Magic 106-103. The win was the Raps’ fourth straight and Kyle Lowry picked up 24 points.
