Take bouncy castles for the kids; add in the usual exhibits and competitions; and you have the annual Cochrane Fall Fair, tonight and tomorrow at the fairgrounds.
Agricultural Society president Elissa Girard says entries are closed for most of the traditional fall fair competitions — except two.
“There’s still a meatball contest that people can enter that’s sponsored by the Beef Farmers of Cochrane District” she says, ‘as well as a vegetarian chili contest.”
Just bring your entry to the fair by 11:00am tomorrow.
Girard adds more to the recipe: a heaping helping of live music. Tonight, it’s provided by Kyler Brouwer. And then there’s all day tomorrow.
“We have Jojo DeBlois, Angelo Paquette, Marcel Courville, whose act is Solitary Diamond, as well as Claudia and Fam Jam.”
Fair hours are tonight, 6:00-9:00, then tomorrow, 10:00am to 3:30pm. Admission is $5.00 a head. Kids under two get in free.
