All three Canadian NHL teams in action last night won.  Montreal edged New Jersey 2-1, Vancouver shaded Carolina 3-2 and Toronto shut-out Anaheim 4-0. 

Ken Griffey Junior has been named to baseball’s Hall of Fame.  Griffey played for three teams during his 22-year career, mostly with Seattle and Cincinnati.  Also named was NeW York Mets catcher Mike Piazza.    Both will be officially inducted in Cooperstown July 24th. 

The Toronto Raptors hammered Brooklyn 91-74 to hand the Nets their eight straight loss.
