Remi Ski Hill says it’s planning to open this weekend to snow boarders and skiers. The hill’s opening has been delayed for well over a month from a lack of snow fall. The forecast is currently calling for five-to-ten centimeters of snow on Friday and nearly 15 on Sunday. Norm Nadeau, who runs the hill, says the snow shoeing and cross-country ski trails have been open for about two weeks but it excited to open the actual hill. The mild temperatures this winter have hurt many local businesses geared towards winter sports.
