Immigration drop-in sessions offered across region starting Monday

Business owners in the region who want to learn more about immigration can participate in four different drop-in sessions next week. Timmins gets the ball rolling on Monday followed by Cochrane, Kapuskasing and Hearst.

Reseau Du Nord economic development agent Marie Josee Tremblay says several non-profit organizations will be there to help guide employers through the immigration process and paperwork.

“You have a hard time to recruit? You have newcomers working for you or you have questions for different pathways? Obviously there is more than one program that does exist,” she said. “We’re actually going to be there with the coordinators of every program.”

Tremblay says the sessions are perfect for business owners and even newcomers.
