An agreement between College Boreal and Universite de Hearst will help psychology students get a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Twelve programs ranging from Early Childhood Education to Paramedic are included. Boreal’s Director of Support to the Vice President of academics Nicole Dubuc-Charbonneau says this will allow students to plan ahead.
“That if I have completed my studies here at College Boreal and go there and some programs it is a two plus two,” she said. “You can complete the first two years of the program here and then follow up with potentially two years there and then get a Bachelor’s degree on top of their diploma.”
She adds that it will also be beneficial for high school students.
“Academic path or a career choice at such a young age can be really daunting on students so knowing to have those different possibilities is really something that we feel is important to provide to the students to share with the students to promote,” she said.
