Any New Year’s Eve party hosts may want to hold onto their empties as Hearst High School is holding a bottle drive. One of the organizers and a teacher at Hearst High School, Andre Dumais says the proceeds will go towards and exchange program in northern Alberta. He says they’ll be going door-to-door to collect donations for the program involving 36 students. Dumais says 18 students from Hearst and 18 from Cabotte’s Lake School will be trading places as part of the program.
