Canada got back in win mode at the World Junior Hockey Championship with a 6-1 routing of Denmark.  Canada now sits at 1-1 after an opening day loss to the U-S. 

In the NHL, Montreal got by Tampa Bay 4-3 in a shootout while Vancouver was shut-out 5-0 by L-A. 

The Toronto Raptors couldn’t hold off a late surge by Chicago and lost to the Bulls 104-97.
