The schedule for the centennial reunion at Iroquois Falls Secondary School is set and up on the reunion’s Facebook page and the school’s website, in English and French.
Committee member Shari Denault reminds us of the open house at the school Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st, and the beer garden barbecue on Friday night.
Tickets for the big 100th anniversary gala at the arena will be available soon on Eventbrite.
“Within probably the next two weeks,” Denault adds, “we’re just finalizing the last of the admin details for that. So people near and far can purchase tickets for the gala and that’s the only thing that has a cost associated with it.”
Everybody’s getting into the act for the reunion. There are several events and attractions around town. And Denault says the museum will be open with a display on the history of schools in the area including, of course, the high school.
“The Iroquois Falls Public Library is going to be running some activities in conjunction with it, and the Day in the Park for July 1st with the town will be in conjunction with the reunion as well.”
