We go back to school this week, helping the Iroquois Falls Museum try to learn the names of people in the thousands of donated photographs it has.
This one’s from 1967 at Iroquois Falls Public School. It’s the Grade 2 class.
Museum volunteer Danny McIntyre says these people would now be in their early 60s.
“Some of them I’m sure are still living in Iroquois Falls,” he surmises.“We’d like some help just identifying who these people are in this picture.”
That includes the teacher.
McIntyre uses this as another opportunity to encourage donations of photos, while urging that you include as much information as possible with them.
“When people come to the museum looking to research their families, etc.” he says,” it sure helps if we have pictures that are identified.”
