Elsewhere, Edmonton lost 4-2 to the New York Rangers, St. Louis shaded Winnipeg 4-3, the Toronto Maple Leafs lost 5-4 to Tampa Bay in OT, Minnesota won 6-2 over Vancouver and Montreal dropped a 3-1 decision to San Jose.
