The deal is sealed. An agreement between Unifor Local 103 and Ontario Northland has officially been ratified. Member from North Bay all the way to James Bay voted to ratify the agreement by an overall margin of 88 per cent. The agreement provides immediate wage increases for skilled trades followed by annual improvements of 2 per cent. All contracts expire on December 31st, 2018. The lockout effected nearly 200 rail and bus mechanics at the company.
