Coats for Kids comes to Iroquois Falls

Just in time for the Iroquois Falls Santa Claus Parade, new or gently used winter jackets, hats, mitts and boots will be available for any child who needs them, free of charge, no questions asked.

Zoreena Liznick-Voyer is organizing the Coats for Kids campaign.

From now until Thursday, December 8th, she’s accepting donations. They’ll be distributed on Saturday the 10th at the pool complex hall between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. That’s a week before the parade on the 18th.

“I’m sure the donations are going to pour in,” predicts Liznick-Voyer, “and I just need volunteers now to jump in and help me with that.”

She’s accepting donations for kids, teenagers, even adults.

“People can drop off donations at Iroquois Falls Tire Service at 1293 Leroux Ave. I have a bin outside.” Leroux Ave. is in Montrock.
