NEW BYLAW IN COCHRANE

In keeping with a new bylaw, the addition of a stop sign at 3^rd Avenue and 5^th Street has already begun to calm traffic in that area. But the corresponding removal of a stop sign at 14^th Avenue and 5^th will likely continue to pose a challenge to drivers until they get used to it. Several near misses occurred yesterday when north-south drivers forgot that east-west drivers no longer have to stop at 14^th and 5^th.
