A long-gone landmark store is the setting of this week’s mystery photograph from the Iroquois Falls Museum.
Volunteer Danny McIntyre has more on the group picture.
“This is the staff of the Hudson Bay when it was a going concern, when it had grocery and dry goods and everything else, and I’m assuming it’s from the 50s,” he says. “In the front row appears to be Gilda Shea, who at the time may have been Gilda Baxter. So that might help timeframe it a little. But other than that, we’re just looking for a timeframe if we can get it, and identification of the people.”
