The teeth-rattling, coffee-spilling ride on Cambridge Ave. in Iroquois Falls will soon be but a memory.
The stretch from Synagogue Ave. to Victoria Rd. has been undergoing reconstruction this summer. Public works director Joel Cyr says all the equipment should be demobilized by the end of next week.
All that’s left to finish up is a bit of paving – depending on the weather – and a bit of topsoil and seed along the roadside.
Cyr says the project is on budget and ahead of schedule.
