It’s an arguable point, but when there’s no water in the beautiful swimming pool at the Tim Horton Event Centre, it’s depressing.
The pool had been drained for annual cleaning and maintenance. However, Cochrane’s community services director, Jason Boyer says it’s full again and back in operation since Monday.
“And it’s great to see the family swims and open swim have been going on already, so it’s great to see all the kids back in the pool again,” he remarks.
“We’re back to pre-pandemic levels of programming in the pool, which is fantastic. Our online pool registration started on Monday as well for our swim classes that are coming up and they’re filling up quickly.”
Other pre-pandemic programs like aquafit and board yoga are also returning.
