NewsANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES LAID SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 2015An investigation into animal abuse has resulted in two Kirkland Lake residents being charged. The OPP says the investigation was sparked by a 911-call placed on November 29th. Police say a 25-year-old male and 26-year-old female have been charged with cruelty to animals. The suspects are set to appear in court in late January. The OPP says if you do witness animal cruelty to either call the police or local animal control to report it immediately.
