Young people who lost their way in education or career during the pandemic can get help finding it again, through a series of workshops at the Cochrane Public Library.
“There seems to be a gap where students – young adults — that have been to college or university, through Covid have kind of lost their way, maybe not sure, ‘what do I do for my next year?’, if they weren’t able to complete the school that they started into,” says Blazecka.
Johnson will help find your way into the workforce or school.
“Mrs. Johnson’s going to start with learning styles and interests,” Blazecka points out, “and then move through that into matching careers or jobs with their interests.”
Representatives of community resources that might help will be called in to some of the sessions. The first is tomorrow (Wed., Sept. 7) from 6:00 until 7:00pm. More information on the library website and Facebook page.
