Iroquois Falls is getting its first legal cannabis retailer.
Carson Cybolsky and Sarah Ellis are co-owners of BLAZEco at 231 Ambridge Drive. Carson says they’re filling a niche.
“There is no current shop in Iroquois Falls. It’s a growing business,” he remarks. “There’s some popping up everywhere, but not in Iroquois Falls, so we seized the opportunity to try to open one.”
The husband-and-wife team will stage a soft opening next Tuesday, July 26th, with a grand opening to come in August.
Cybolsky says Iroquois Falls residents will no longer have to travel to Cochrane or Timmins to buy their cannabis.
“We’ll be offering flower buds, extracts, concentrates, so hash, vape oil, we’ll be offering edibles like beverages and gummies and all sorts of accessories, anything you need.”
BLAZEco already has some staff, but Cybolsky says it’s possible that more staff will be hired. It has a website and will eventually deliver in the Iroquois Falls area.
