The OPP says it responded to a vehicle which had fallen into Commando Lake in Cochrane resulting in the death of the driver. Police say on Monday evening they arrived at the scene and were able to get the 75-year-old driver of the vehicle out as it was partially submerged. The OPP says multiple EMS teams were present at the scene where the woman was transported to hospital and pronounced dead. Police say there is an open investigation but foul play is not suspected.
