With coronavirus still very active in our communities, the MICs Foundation is staging its Curbside Lobster Dinner again this year, instead of a sit-down affair.
It’s on Friday, June 10th. Foundation coordinator Katie Browne says the pick-up location in Matheson is the municipal boat launch.
“For Iroquois Falls, you’ll be going to Anson Park,” she says. “There you will be greeted by one of our great volunteers and they will present you with your dinner.”
“We’re hoping for a beautiful day so that if individuals would like to eat their dinner in the park, that would be an option for them.”
That dinner is a cooked lobster, a salad and a dinner roll for $35.00. The deadline to place your order is noon on June 2nd . To do that, email [email protected] or phone 705-273-2424 ext. 1103.
Proceeds from Matheson go to the equipment fund at Bingham Memorial Hospital and the Rosedale Centre. In the Falls, it’s for the new South Centennial Manor.
