The Mushkegowuk Council is getting almost two-hundred thousand dollars from the Ontario government to start an educational program. The money will be spread over two years, and will go towards helping students learn about jobs in resource development. The funding is part of a bigger Memorandum of Understanding the council signed with the province. This will bring the two parties together to go over strategies in governance, resource benefit sharing, and economic development.
