Wins were hard to come by for the Canadian NHL teams last night, with all three clubs in action losing. Edmonton was shut-out 1-0 by Washington, Toronto dropped a 4-3 decision to Boston in a shootout and Colorado easily got by Winnipeg 4-1.
In the NFL Monday Nighter, the New England Patriots kept their perfect season intact. The Pats won their 10th straight game of the season, this one a 20-13 decision over Buffalo.
