A new partnership in Iroquois Falls is promoting lifelong learning, focussing on the arts.
Iroquois Falls Arts Council chair Fran Coté says Contact North is offering a free online session on Wednesday, January 19th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, outlining arts-related program options.
And that’s just the beginning of the partnership.
“On a monthly basis,” Coté adds, “there will be two new selections or features that’ll appear on the (arts council) Facebook and on the website that we’re going to promote each month.”
And at the end of the first session, there will be a draw for a watercolour paint kit.
“The one little thing is that in order to win the prize,” Coté notes, “the person has to be a member of the Iroquois Falls Arts Council, and our membership fee is just $5.00.”
Registration is available on the arts council’s website and Facebook page or by contacting Fran Coté at 705-232-6707.
