COVID-19 lockdown results in junior hockey league taking a pause

The COVID-19 circuit breaker that takes effect in Ontario tonight is forcing the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League to take a pause until at least January 27th.

The league includes the Cochrane Crunch.

Following an online emergency meeting Monday night, the NOJHL issued a short statement that says: “The league is focused on resuming play soon as we are allowed to by the government and we will make our best efforts to make up any lost games due to the ‘pause’.”
