Two deaths of Blastomycosis confirmed by Constance Lake First Chief

She adds there are now 22 confirmed cases, and two probable.

“One hundred and twenty people are still being looked at or have gone in to get checked if they had a cough or they felt one of the symptoms,” she said in her latest update.

Sutherland says trying to find answers is the difficult part.

“We don’t know where this came from or when it happened, so that is the hard part,” she said. “The good thing they say the scientists, the investigators that because of all the snow that seems to be our protection right now.”

She adds that transportation to and from Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst for medical appointments continues.
