A recent rash of roaming dogs has led the Cochrane pound to remind residents that it is unlawful to allow your dog to roam free off your property. All dogs walking off property must be on leash and under supervision. The Cochrane pound say they are unable to keep dogs for long periods, meaning unclaimed animals could be put down.
