HENRY’S GETTING OUT

Seven hundred pounds of furry cuteness will make his debut at the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat today.  The newest resident of the habitat, Henry, is being released from his 30-day quarantine.  Last month Henry was brought to the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat from a facility in Australia’s Gold Coast.  As part of the process the Canadian Food Inspection Agency had to place Henry in quarantine within the facility for 30 days.  The habitat’s manager, Karen Cummings says there’s a possibility in the future more polar bears may be joining Henry and Ganuk.  Habitat staff and bear keepers will be present to answer questions about his quarantine and adjustment to the new locale.
