Work towards a new recreation master plan for Cochrane is continuing, with another examination of public opinion.
This time, it’s an online survey that community services director Jason Boyer (BOY-ur) says is straightforward.
“We’re looking to see how you use our facilities, what you like about them, what you think might need to be improved, what areas you want us to address in the future, so that we can prioritize the initiatives and start working towards what our town needs and wants,” Boyer explains.
The next step is a draft plan in December.
“Our tentative plans, “ Boyer notes, “are to have another public meeting to kind of see if we got it right or if there’s any last-minute tweaks to it, and then we’ll have a copy to council hopefully by the end of January.”
The survey is online until next Monday.
