You have more time to get into the Cochrane Public Library as of this week.
With the pandemic showing definite signs of slowing down, the library is again going to be open on Saturdays between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Jessica Horne, the assistant to the CEO, invites you to come in this Saturday to meet the new program services coordinator, Hillary Meaden.
“She’s been working since September, so September, October,” Horne notes. “We’ve been very busy coming up with some new programming now that we’ve got more time throughout the week.”
Details on all the programming are on the library’s calendar, available in hard copy or online.
Horne says the Saturday opening is in addition to 10:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday.
“We know it was really hard for parents and people who work throughout the week to be able to get to the library before five o’clock,” she states. “So we’re so excited that those people can come in on Saturday and access the library.”
COVID-19 health safety protocols are still in effect.
