Ottawa and Winnipeg Jets went to a shootout in their NHL game last night and when it was over the Senators emerged with a 3-2 win.  In other games, Montreal easily got by the New York Islanders 4-1 while Calgary beat Philadelphia 2-1 in overtime.
In the NFL Thursday Nighter, Cincinnati picked up a 31-10 win over the Cleveland Browns to remain undefeated on the season at 8-0.
The Cochrane Crunch beat the Eskis last night at the Tim Horton Event Centre, 8-3. Â The Crunch play French River tonight 7:30 also at the Event Centre.
