A store legally selling cannabis products has opened in Cochrane. T Cannabis is in the pink building at 143 Fourth St., next to the LCBO.
Robin Smith is district manager for the eleven T Cannabis stores in Ontario. He says customers range from young to middle-aged, up through senior.
“People coming in looking for CBD oils or vape carts if you’re younger and stuff like that,” he outlines. “But really, the demographic – I was a little surprised when I first entered into the industry, but it’s a little bit of everyone.”
It’s been almost three years since weed was legalized in Canada. Smith says that time gap is good for the business.
“Some of the hesitation and stuff is kind of long gone and over, and people are excited to buy legal product.”
