The Winnipeg Jets were the only Canadian teams to win their NHL games last night. The Jets downed Minnesota 5-4. Elsewhere, Calgary lost 4-1 to the New York Rangers while L-A edged Edmonton 3-2.
It’s one more off day before the start of the World Series. The New York Mets face the Kansas City Royals. The Royals eliminated the Toronto Blue Jays to win the American League title in six games.
