The O.N.E. is recognizing its principals and vice-principals during the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario’s work-to-rule job action. The District School Board Ontario North East held a meeting recognizing principals and vice-principals stepping up their responsibilities during the strike action. Director of Education at the O.N.E., Linda Knight says the atmosphere for students has changed. The E.F.T.O. has been without a contract for over a year and Knight says she’s not sure when the province will return to the table.
