FLU SHOT CLINICS OPENING

Flu shot clinics will be opening in the Northeast being held by the Porcupine Health Unit.  The clinics will open at the end of October in South Porcupine, then in Timmins at the beginning of November.  The health unit says children between the ages of two and 17 will be receiving a vaccine containing more strains of influenza for better protection.  The PHU says other health care providers and local pharmacies will also be carrying the vaccines.  The Porcupine Health Unit services communities from Cochrane to Algoma in the Northeast.
