We’ve now had 734 COVID-19 cases in the Porcupine Health Unit region

Timmins continues to be the COVID-19 epicentre of the Porcupine Health Unit region.

Of the 13 new cases reported today, eleven are in the city. The rest are somewhere along the Highway 11 corridor between Smooth Rock Falls and Matheson. Twenty-nine cases moved into the “resolved” category over the weekend.

The total since the pandemic began is now 734.
