Timmins home to 3 new COVID-19 cases

UPDATE AT 3:30pm:  Three more cases confirmed by PHU, all in Timmins all due to contact with another case.  Total now 376.

For a while, the COVID-19 hotspot in our region was the Hearst area. Then Kapuskasing. And now Timmins.

The Porcupine Health Unit reports three more cases in Timmins today, bringing the regional total since the pandemic arrived to 373.

Again, all three of these people picked up the virus from someone else already confirmed as a positive case.

Once the holiday weekend is over tomorrow, we’ll get an update on cases and how many are still active.
