Search warrant nets OPP drugs

A search warrant at a Cochrane home last Wednesday morning resulted in the seizure of drugs and charges against the man who lives there.

OPP say they seized several suspected drugs, some associated equipment and a quantity of cash.

The 50-year-old man goes to court on May 11th.

CHARGES 

• Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
• Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
• Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin), contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
• Adult Possession of a Schedule III Substance, contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA, and
• Adult Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
