Age limit expanded for Indigenous, Métis, Inuit to get first COVID-19 vaccine

The Porcupine Health Unit has expanded the age criteria for Indigenous, Métis and Inuit people in Cochrane and Iroquois Falls to get their first COVID-19 vaccines Monday and Tuesday.

Because there are so many openings not already spoken for, you only have to fit in one of those groups and be at least 18 years.  The earlier limit was 55 and older.

The clinic is Monday from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Commando Pavilion, and tomorrow (Tuesday) from ten ‘til five at the Iroquois Falls Community Centre – the former Local 90 Hall.

You still need to book in advance.  Click here or phone 1-800-461-1818.
