On Saturday, the Cochrane Fire Department held a training event in the parking lot across from the Fire Hall. A number of wrecked vehicles were set up to simulate various kinds of accident scenes, allowing the men to hone their rescue skills. Each year in our region the Cochrane Fire Department responds to about 50 car accidents.
