A funeral was held inside and outside the Commando Pavilion in Cochrane on Monday for 22-year-old Brooke Chapleau.
She died a week ago Sunday, six days after suffering severe head injuries in a fall down a set of stairs. Provincial police are conducting a coroner’s investigation.
About 100 family and friends were at the service, complying with COVID-19 crowd restrictions. Speaking were Brooke’s mother, Lynne Chapleau, and Pastor Bob Cox from New Hope Community Church.
