Lever: We Need to Double-Down on Infrastructure

The Liberal’s Todd Lever says FedNor funding for infrastructure needs to be increased.

Lever says the budget has been cut from nearly $77 million to nearly half of that today.

He says FedNor isn’t even spending all of the money it has on projects in the Northeast.

He says the Liberals are looking to double-down on infrastructure.

Lever is running against the Conservative’s John Curley, the NDP’s Charlie Angus and the Green Party’s Max Kennedy.

Lever says FedNor and the NOHFC play a huge roll in developing businesses and municipalities in northern Ontario.

The federal election is set for October 19th.
