A new strategic plan is being enacted by the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.  NOSM says the plan will shape the policy and community bonds for its students in Northern Ontario hospitals, doctor’s offices and clinics.  NOSM says the objectives of the new plan include further engaging communities in which their students work in and focusing on ideas for improving care in rural communities.  Right now there are four third-year students and two residency positions being filled at the Sensenbrenner Hospital and Clinic in Kapuskasing.
