Despite all the efforts to banish COVID-19 from Extendicare Kapuskasing, the virus is still roaming the halls of the long-term care facility. The Porcupine Health Unit says it has stricken two more people there, although it doesn’t specify whether they’re residents or staff members.
Those new cases are numbers 293 and 294 in the PHU region since the pandemic arrived eleven months ago.
UPDATE: Extendicare says it now has 24 active cases among residents, with 14 resolved; and 14 staff cases.
