Over the coming weeks, 22 detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police will be honoring 400 years of francophone presence in northern Ontario. These detachments are part of the force’s bilingual service area and various local offices will be celebrating with public tours, flag raising ceremonies and other events. Sergeant Carole Dionne says more details on the celebration schedule will be forthcoming.
