Elementary teachers from the District Schoolboard Ontario North East are in a work-to-rule job action. This means extra-curricular activities, sports and field trips are not being held. The Elementary Teacher’s Federation of Ontario says it has been operating without a deal for a year. EFTO says the union has been legally allowed to strike since May. The work-to-rule campaign affects all public elementary schools in Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.
